OK... I will be working on GRID full time tomorrow until we push through the purchase. I had a few thing on my plate to clear off. To Do List: 1. Convert BTC to USD 2. Select Shipper / Receiving Agent 3. Wire USD to GridSeed / PAY4. Get Delivery Date and Tracking Info5. Take Delivery 6. Ship Units to Buyers <partial - started 7. I use Coinbase exclusively for my USD out transactions. I would recommend them. The turnaround is usually a few business days.

If you are just setting up Coinbase it takes 30 days for full level 2 account status. Once you reach level 2 you can sell up to $50,000 of bitcoin per day. Bank transfers take 3-4 business days normally.

IMHO, I think BTC to CNY is preferable because it seems to be holding better than the BTC to USD market. I hope someone else can confirm, but my vote is to convert to whatever is higher at the time of purchase (probably CNY).

I got an "auto-reply" from Gridseed to my request about paying in CNY. Basically it said they were swamped and would get to the emails in order. Apparently, we aren't the only people on the planet that want ASICs. They got alot of requests from mainland China and probably cant handle this volume of response. I think we will have to just be patient, which is difficult to do when BTC is dropping and money is idle... but that's where we are at the moment
