At the current funding level how many Gridseed miners do you estimate you will be purchasing?

From a GRID Bitcointalk post by fasbit: "1 Mining Unit cost is $160 / 650 = .2461 BTC - yields .3mh/s Not amazing...but its very low wattage and low heat.
In Shares, that is about 241,600 shares for 1 mining unit."
They cost $160 and we have approx 65 BTC (~$36,790 @ $566) in funds. Looks like about 230 miners by my calcs (I may be wrong!), but the drop in BTC definitely isn't helping. Damn, GOX....

As for timing... I have contacted GRIDSEED but they are slammed with requests from mainland China. We cant get in the queue until we place an order. I am trying to convince them to accept CHY from BTer instead of taking our BTC converting to USD and then international wire then they convert to CHY. I want to skip that whole process. Its in the works... It looks like the slide has stopped... so that is a good thing... I just hope btc continues to rise...
We will lose some buying power if we exchange now... so maybe this short delay is a good thing... give the market time to sort out the GOX debacle...

As for number of miners, we will be purchasing the USB controller as well. One controller runs 15 gridseed units.

I take it you got these much cheaper than retail. So if we were to sell these at retail what would the price be?

The announcement on cryptostocks said the order was placed and paid for, did you get a delivery date yet?

The announcement on cryptostocks said the order was placed and paid for, did you get a delivery date yet? No... just a ship date. It will ship from Beijing to Shenzen on Tuesday. At that point we will get a tracking number and a delivery date.

Anyone researched the 350khs or 400khs option? Im not sure if its a firmaware issue or a hardware upgrade or just a different model.

They vary in performance as you can see here: Plus you can mess with the frequencies and overclock like GPUs, although I don't think ASICs respond as well to overclocking.
